Akshay Mridul – Senior Executive Business Development
Avid reader and adventure sports enthusiast Akshay Mridul is in a perfect position to lead Onepoint sales in India. Not only is he a graduate in Computer Science, Akshay completed a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in marketing, in 2013. He brings both sides of his knowledge together to ensure Onepoint prospects and clients can get the most out of any new tech.
From lead generation to negotiation and management of the change process, Akshay primarily promotes Talend and other big data solutions.
His role is to understand prospects’ big picture goals and compare them to the capabilities of current system set-up and performance. By exposing gaps, Akshay helps to identify opportunities to better marry the two with tech – and takes a hands-on role in developing proof-of-concept prototypes, workflows and post-instal solutions.
At the far end of the process, Akshay runs workshops and tutorials to ensure businesses can glean long-term, maximum advantage from any new tech stacks.
One of the sportier members of the Onepoint team, Akshay’s an enthusiastic hiker and a big fan of the pool table, with a passion both for 8-ball, and Carom – a “strike and pocket” billiards game from South Asia.
