A latecomer to development, Laszlo Bogacsi – a qualified civil engineer – spent a decade working on big construction and infrastructure projects in London and his native Hungary.
Working on over a dozen engineering briefs, Laszlo’s work ranged from private home renovations to Crossrail, and mega land redevelopment projects in the UK capital.
An app builder in his spare time, Laszlo decided to change careers and turn his hobby into a vocation, attending a 16-week intensive software development boot camp at London’s Makers Academy.
Within a couple of months of completing his course, Laszlo joined HSBC, assisting in a major digital transformation project. Learning Java 8 on the job and deepening his knowledge in a range of other programs, Laszlo completed his short-term contract and was snapped up by Onepoint in 2017.
